The Tech Business Summit (TBS) is back for a second edition, scheduled for March 13, 2025, at Europarque in Santa Maria da Feira. Among the approximately 20 confirmed speakers are names like Bruno Horta Soares, Ricardo Parreira, André F. Costa, and many others.
After the success of the first edition, the Tech Business Summit (TBS) returns on March 13 to Europarque in Santa Maria da Feira. Under the theme Meet the Evolution, the event brings together a group of renowned speakers in the fields of technology, management, and innovation to discuss topics such as digital transformation, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and e-commerce, among others.
This year’s edition features more than 20 speakers, 9 panels, and two round tables, as well as two showcase sessions – one of the main novelties of the event this year.
More than 20 Confirmed Speakers
One of the confirmed names is Bruno Horta Soares, a specialist in Digital Transformation and Governance with over 20 years of experience in these sectors. Ricardo Parreira, a recognized entrepreneur and founder of PHC, also makes his debut with a panel on innovation in business management. The morning’s individual presentations conclude with Álvaro García Abarrio, Executive Director of WatchGuard Technologies for Iberia, who will bring to the stage the theme of cybersecurity in companies, and Rogério Canhoto, a specialist in digitization and AI, who returns to TBS with the theme of digital transformation.
In the afternoon, highlights include the participation of Céu Mendonça, Executive Director of Microsoft’s partnerships area, who joins André Oliveira, Chief Technology Officer of PONTUAL, in a panel on digital innovation for SMEs. André F. Costa, an expert in Artificial Intelligence and founder of SuperHumano AI, brings a practical approach to AI, with tools and methods that managers can implement in their businesses. Next is Pedro Vale, Vice President of Engineering for AI and Data at Cegid, with the theme of AI in the next generation of ERP. The individual panels conclude with presentations by António Silva, CEO of NB Consulting, on funding opportunities for business digitization, and Daniel Alves, Head of Innovation & Research at E-goi, who will address personalization, automation, and AI in the customer journey.
Regarding the round tables, the morning includes the session “The new era of management in SMEs”, featuring contributions from Josep Maria Raventos (Cegid), Hugo Ferraz Oliveira (Sage), Jorge Guimarães (PHC) and moderated by António Teixeira, (PONTUAL). In the afternoon, the topic “Recruiting and retaining teams: what challenges do we face today” will feature contributions from Nuno Queirós (Cegid), Joana Martins (Sage), Sofia Canas (Factorial) and moderated by Pedro Sousa (PONTUAL).
Showcase Sessions
One of the main novelties of TBS in 2025 is the Showcase Sessions. These are a series of short sessions (15 minutes) in which brands like Microsoft, Watchguard, TP Link or FoodInTech present practical demonstrations of their solutions. Access to the Showcase Sessions is free for event participants.
Similar to the first edition, the event will also feature an exhibition area with various brands and partners presenting their solutions to the public.
Organized by the companies PONTUAL, BNEXT, and Lendarius, the Tech Business Summit aims to establish itself as a reference event for the empowerment and technological literacy of small and medium-sized business managers. After a first edition that attracted over 400 people, António Teixeira, CEO of the PONTUAL group, estimates that 600 participants will be reached in 2025.

For an entrepreneur, it’s not always easy to keep up with technological advances, which are increasingly rapid and can have a significant impact on businesses.
