Scheduled for March 14 at Europarque in Santa Maria da Feira, the Tech Business Summit (TBS) is the first event in the North for SME managers who want to learn more about technology solutions for companies and stay updated on major industry trends.
The event will bring together a group of speakers and experts in areas such as management software, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity, across more than 10 panels and three round tables. Among the confirmed speakers are Rogério Canhoto, chief business officer at PHC Software, Joep Maria Raventós, executive director of small & medium business at Cegid for the Portuguese and African markets, Ana Ribeiro, sales director at Sage Iberia for the SMB and accountants markets, Diogo Miragaia, partner development manager at Microsoft Portugal, Daniel Alves, head of innovation & research at E-goi, and Rui Coutinho, executive director at NOVA SBE. The full list of speakers and panels is available on the Tech Business Summit website.
“Technology as a competitive factor in SMEs”, “Artificial Intelligence: threat or opportunity for companies”, and “How to apply cybersecurity in business” will be some of the topics presented throughout the event, which also includes presentations focusing on technology for sectors such as industry and logistics, maintenance, and accounting. Participants will also be able to visit a tech showcase with around 30 exhibitors and representatives of the main players in the sector at the national level.
Organized jointly by three companies linked to the IT sector – PONTUAL, BNEXT, and LENDARIUS – TBS aims, as Filipe Santos from BNEXT states, “at a time when technology is increasingly omnipresent in the business world, to be a reference event that presents SMEs with the best in this field”. On the other hand, as Paulo Teixeira from LENDARIUS adds, TBS aims to “provide more direct and face-to-face contact between SME managers and the major reference brands in the sector”.
António Teixeira, CEO of the PONTUAL group, emphasizes that “managers who empower themselves by increasing their knowledge and putting it into practice in their businesses are those who will not only thrive in the future but also make a valuable contribution to the growth of the national economy”.
The organization estimates the presence of around 400 entrepreneurs at this first edition of the Tech Business Summit, which aims to become a national reference in the area of technology and management solutions for companies.
