On March 14, the Tech Business Summit brought together over 400 people at Europarque in Santa Maria da Feira, in a first edition that gathered technology partners, speakers, and SME managers around topics related to management technology. A second edition of the event is already planned for 2025.
Jointly organized by PONTUAL, BNEXT, and Lendarius, the Tech Business Summit (TBS) brought together hundreds of participants, including exhibitors, speakers, and registered attendees, for a day dedicated to technological solutions that accelerate the results of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises.
More than 20 speakers took the stage at TBS, with presentations covering topics such as Artificial Intelligence, ERP software, cybersecurity, and technological solutions for sectors like industry or accounting, among others. In addition to these panels, participants had access to an exhibition space with about 30 brands and technology partners for businesses, where activities like raffles and a demonstration of the Microsoft Copilot software also took place.
“Our goal was to organize a day of knowledge sharing and networking for entrepreneurs and managers of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises, who are often overlooked in such events”, says António Teixeira, CEO of PONTUAL. Thus, the selection of topics and speakers was made considering the interests of this target audience, with the focus always being on providing clear information and knowledge about these buzzwords we hear so much about, like AI or cybersecurity, which, although they are current, still generate many doubts and questions”, emphasizes Filipe Santos, CEO of BNEXT.
António Teixeira highlights the “very positive feedback about the event, particularly regarding the chosen topics and speakers” and thanks all participants and the organization, who made this “a memorable first edition”. Filipe Santos also highlights “the participation rate, which was ambitious for a first edition, but we managed to achieve” and the “fantastic networking environment, with many opportunities to exchange various impressions and great receptivity from everyone involved”.
Given the success of this first edition, the possibility of TBS returning in 2025 is already on the horizon: “The second edition is already on the table, and given the feedback we received this time, we will work to exceed participants’ expectations and maintain a high level of quality”, reveals Filipe Santos. António Teixeira agrees, not forgetting the event’s mission: “our goal is to make TBS grow and for people to leave here with more knowledge about technology and how it can help their businesses evolve and grow”.
